As previously reportedly by Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda.com, WWE is considering the option of shutting the NXT UK brand down due to the numerous accusations made towards UK talent during the #SpeakingOut movement.
In an update on the situation, Alex McCarthy of TalkSport.com noted that he was told “WWE are not looking at cancelling NXT UK in the short term/near future. Pretty emphatically, too.”
Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda.com addressed the state of NXT UK:
I’ve had several people asking NXT UK.
Last month, I reported on how talents were “working from home” and that there was a plan to tape content when safe to do so.
A couple of weeks ago, I was told there’s a tentative plan to tape empty arena shows within roughly two months…

Obviously the tapings situation relies heavily on Government guidance, which is the major reason why NXT UK tapings ground to a halt while RAW, SmackDown and NXT in the US didn’t.
Things could change. As far as I know, they haven’t yet.

Again, I’ve held back on this as there’s a lot of conflicting info out there – but that’s a summary of what I’ve heard and I haven’t heard anything to the contrary since.
