AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May appeared on Close-Up With Renee Paquette, where she talked about a number of topics including Mercedes Moné joining the company.
May said, “I don’t care. Honestly, half the time, I don’t know she’s stepped in here because I don’t know this, but she has her own locker room. So she says she’s here to help and she cares so much? So come into our locker room. Come into our tiny little locker room and help us, teach us, share your knowledge from all these years of experience you’ve apparently had. But no, she’s sitting in her locker room, and she’s writing her Mone Mag. I mean, how many people are reading that magazine? Who actually cares about your magazine? Because I care about women’s wrestling, and I care about being on the show and getting more than 10 minutes. So if you care, come step in the room with me.”
On if she feels slighted by Moné getting more TV time:
“Yeah, I do. Because I think I’m better.”
