The Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) defeated The Elite (Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, and Hangman Page) in the Anarchy in the Arena Match at the AEW Double or Nothing event from Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday night.

There were many different weapons used in the frenzied match. After Matt Jackson delivered an explosive superkick to Moxley, Moxley later sent Matt barefoot into some thumbtacks. Moxley used an RKO to put Nick Jackson in thumbtacks, only for Matt to later have tacks in his mouth and Claudio to hit an uppercut.

Matt had the idea a month ago and needed a special license, according to Dave Meltzer’s report in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Meltzer wrote, “Matt Jackson came up with the exploding superkick spot about a month ago. He wanted to do something that hadn’t been done and to do so he had to get a Nevada State Fire Performers license that other entertainment acts in Las Vegas using things like that as part of the show have to get.”

As PWMania.com previously reported, the venue also rejected a number of other ideas for the match.
