Mercedes Mone is about to become a free agent soon.
Mone’s management has stated that she has no more dates with Stardom, according to Fightful Select.
She is said to be willing to work more Stardom dates, but it would require a “bigger renegotiation” following the business she helped draw for them.
Fightul was also informed that the rumored “extension” covers the NJPW Strong Resurgence show on May 21st. According to New Japan Pro Wrestling sources, the length of her contract is unknown, but she will not compete for “at least a while.”
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that people backstage at Stardom were impressed with Mone and how she interacted with everyone. With Stardom, the door appears to be open for more, but it appears that after May 21st, she could pop up anywhere if the price is right for her.
