MLW World Champion Alex Hammerstone on Possibly Going To WWE or AEW

The current MLW World Champion Alex Hammerstone has been one of the cornerstone stars for Major League Wrestling ever since he made his debut for the promotion back in February of 2019. He has been an integral part of the success and growth MLW has achieved over the past few years.

He was praised recently by former fellow Dynasty faction member, now AEW superstar, MJF who indicated that Hammerstone would be a huge get for AEW.

Alex Hammerstone was recently interviewed on The Wrassingh Show and commented on a possible move to the WWE or AEW:

“As for the foreseeable future, I’m under contract with Major League Wrestling,” Hammerstone said. “My immediate plans are what’s ahead of me. So right now, I’m focused on, you know, being the best MLW World Champion that I can possibly be because that’s where I’m at. I have a lot of goals left there, but on the other side of that, the possibilities are endless. I haven’t written anything off the table. I don’t have my eyes specifically set on any one goal.”

Alex Hammerstone has held the MLW World Heavyweight Title for over a year. He has successfully defended the title against top stars including Davey Richards, Richard Holliday and Bandido.

Hammerstone’s next defense of the championship will be at Fightland ’22 on October 30 as he will attempt to turn away the challenge of EJ Nduka.
