TMDK (Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr & Kosei Fujita) vs. Shota Umino & Yuto Nakashima

Zack Sabre Jr & Shota Umino started this match off with some standing reversals then TMDK works over Yuto Nakashima. Umino & ZSJ fought again with ZSJ hitting some European uppercuts. Umino hits a dropkick on Kosei Fujita’s knee and worked over the leg. Umino locks in STF and cranked on the leg until Fujita tap out.

Bullet Club (Strong Openweight Champion Kenta,El Phantasmo,Chase Owens & David Finlay) vs. Just 4 Guys (Taichi,Yoshinobu Kanemaru,Douki & Taka Michinoku)

Both teams brawled at the bell. Kenta works over Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Bullet Club kept Kanemaru in their corner. El Phantasmo stood on Kanemaru’s groin as he was tied in the tree of woe. Kanemaru finally hit a DDT on ELP and they were both down. Taichi makes the hot tag and he hit some spin kicks to David Finlay’s thighs before Finlay hit a side slam for a near fall.

Taka Michinoku made the hot tag and he applied a chin lock and cranked back on Finlay’s neck & ELP was in the ring and cheering for Finlay to break free from the hold but he didn’t help either Michinoku hits a running knee to the chest for a near fall then Finlay hits Michinoku with Trash Panda to score the win for Bullet Club.

Los Ingobnrables De Japon (KOPW 2023 Champion Shingo Takagi & Bushi) vs. United Empire (Aaron Henare & Great O Khan)

Match starts off with Shingo Takagi & Aaron Henare trading forearms shots before LIJ & United Empire brawled to the floor with Great O Khan whipping Bushi into the guardrail. Back in the ring United Empire works over Bushi in their corner. Takagi tags in and hit more forearm shots on O Khan, then a double DDT for a near fall.

O Khan hits a T Bone suplex on Takagi. Henare hit a Samoan Drop on Takagi for a 2 count. Takagi fires back with a dragon screw on Henare. Henare hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Bushi for a near fall then Henare hit a punch to the stomach and he locks in Ultima for the submission win.

Los Ingobnrables De Japon (Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi,Tetsuya Naito & Sanada) vs. NEVER Openweight Champion Tama Tonga,Tomoaki Honma & Lio Rush

Hiromu Takahashi & Lio Rush kicks this match off with they do some fast reversals before Tetsuya Naito enters and hits a Rude Awakening on Rush and LIJ works over Rush.

Tama Tonga made the hot tag and he hits a dropkick on Naito. Sanada ties Tonga in the Paradise Lock and kicks him in the butt to free him. Tonga connects with Tongan Twist and they were both down. Tomoaki Honma enters and hit a headbutt on Naito before Naito hits Destino to get the win for LIJ.

Chaos (IWGP Tag Team Champions Yoshi Hashi & Hirooki Goto & Yoh) vs. United Empire (Kyle Fletcher,Jeff Cobb & Will Ospreay)

Jeff Cobb gets this match going by hitting a shoulder tackle to Hirooki Goto. United Empire works over Goto. Goto hits a clothesline on Kyle Fletcher at 5:30 and tags in Yoshi Hashi. Fletcher hit a half nelson suplex on Yoshi Hashi.

Yoh made the hot tag and he traded offense with Will Ospreay, hitting a northern lights suplex with a bridge for a near fall. Cobb hits Yoh with Spin Cycle then Yoh hits a knee strike to Ospreay’s jaw. Ospreay nails Hidden Blade  to the back of Yoh’s head for the win.

Toru Yano vs. Mark Davis

Toru Yano removes a corner pad before Mark Davis took it, did an elbow drop on it and threw it to the floor. They went to the floor, where Yano ties Kyle Fletcher to the guardrail, then Yano hid under the ring. Yano finally came out with a hood over his head and he stumbled into the ring where Davis beat on him some more.

Davis hits a standing neckbreaker then they went to the floor where Davis hit a senton on the floor. Yano barely dove back into the ring before being counted out at then we get more humor with tape ensued. Davis finally hits an enzuigiri then he nails Yano to the mat with Water Slide to score the victory.

Winner: Mark Davis (12:33) (He will face Will Ospreay in the 2nd Round)

NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champion Ren Narita vs. Evil

Ren Narita attacks Evil before the bell then Dick Togo trips Narita allowing Evil to take control. They brawled away from ringside, with Evil choking Narita with a t shirt. They got back in the ring but the ref refused to make a count because of all the cheating. Evil hits a body slam for a near fall. Narita hits a northern lights suplex with a bridge for a near fall.

They went back to the floor, where Evil again slams Narita into the guardrail, and Togo hit Narita across the back with a chair. In the ring Evil hit a suplex for a near fall. Narita hits a release German suplex and they were both down. Evil hits Darkness Falls for a near fall. Evil set up for Everything Is Evil but Narita blocks it. Narita hits another northern lights suplex for a near fall. Narita was fired up and hit a series of punches. Evil rakes the eyes.

The ref got bumped so Togo jumped in the ring, and House Of Torture put the boots to Narita. Evil used a chair to hit a chair placed around Narita’s neck. House Of Torture hits the Magic Killer. The ref returned to the ring and made a two count. Narita locks in a rear naked choke. Evil accidentally clotheslined Togo. Narita again avoided Everything Is Evil and he hit an enzuigiri. Evil hit a low blow mule kick then a clothesline for a near fall before he hits Everything Is Evil for the win.

Winner: Evil (18:44) (He will face Jeff Cobb in the 2nd Round)
