A number of streaming services have recently announced price hikes, and NBCUniversal is no exception.

In mid-July, Peacock will increase the price of Peacock Premium (with ads) by $2 to $7.99. Peacock Premium, the mostly ad-free tier, will increase from $11.99 to $13.99. The annual Peacock Premium subscription fee will increase from $59.99 to $79.99. Premium Plus’ annual price will increase from $119.99 to $139.99 per year. Prices for new subscribers will go into effect on July 18. Existing subscribers will see the price change on their next billing date on or after August 17.

The price increase is part of NBCUniversal’s effort to make Peacock profitable after discontinuing its free tiers last year. WWE’s library and PLEs are currently available on the platform. WWE’s deal with Peacock expires in 2026.
