WWE Superstar Penta has opened up about his 2026 Money in the Bank victory, the responsibility that comes with his growing popularity, and the possibility of cashing in his contract on World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Penta reflected on winning the Money in the Bank briefcase and admitted that the accomplishment still feels surreal at times.

The masked star explained that his success has also given him a greater appreciation for his influence on younger wrestling fans, particularly those who wear his merchandise and attempt to speak Spanish when meeting him. “Actually, I want to be honest with you. Sometimes I can’t believe what happened right now. But at the same time, I know what my responsibility is now in this business, you know? Because more and more children come to me. Every child uses my T-shirt, my mask. You can’t say it in Spanish, but he trying is when I saw that, like, okay, I know now my responsibility with the crowd, you know?”

Penta also discussed the progress of his brother, Rey Fenix, who is currently appearing on SmackDown while Penta remains part of the RAW roster.

He expressed pride in seeing his brother establish himself in WWE, reflecting on their respective journeys with the company. “So I feel great because now my brother is starting to grow up, and different kinds of stuff. Now he is on SmackDown. I am on RAW. But the time when my brother came, I came to RAW. Well, amazing too, you know?”

Turning his attention to Money in the Bank, Penta described the sense of power that comes with holding a contract that allows him to challenge for a world championship at a time of his choosing.

Although he has not decided when or where he will cash in, Penta specifically mentioned Roman Reigns as someone he has started thinking about targeting. “So, as for the briefcase, I actually feel like that, bro. I have the f*cking power in my hands, basically, because at one time, I don’t know where, I don’t know when, but when I feel in my soul it’s the perfect time to cash in, I will, you know?”

“So now I start thinking something Roman [Reigns]. I mean, I don’t know, because it’s my first time, but at the same time, I want to do the best for the world champion, you know?”

Despite teasing a potential opportunity against Reigns, Penta emphasized that he is currently enjoying the experience of carrying the briefcase and incorporating it into his WWE entrances. “But for now, I enjoy every presentation with my briefcase, with fire, you know, everything involved about it. So I enjoy it, basically.”

Penta also addressed the possibility of reuniting with Rey Fenix as the Lucha Bros, expressing optimism that fans could eventually see the popular tag team together again on WWE television. “So, yeah. And as for the Lucha Bros, I’m very glad for my brother because I know, I know too soon the Lucha Bros can return to SmackDown or RAW.”

While Penta’s comments suggest that a Lucha Bros reunion remains something he is looking forward to, no official WWE plans for the team’s return have been announced.

For now, Penta continues to hold the Money in the Bank contract, leaving open the possibility of a future world championship opportunity against Reigns or another champion.
