Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is using his time away from the squared circle to focus on something he hasnโt had in years โ his own health.
Following his release from WWE last month, Strowman took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse into his post-WWE transformation. In a recent update, the powerhouse revealed that his weight is now in the low 340s, and that heโs feeling better than he has in a long time.
โFive weeks in sneak peek!!!!โ Strowman wrote. โBody weight is low 340โs fasted in the amโs!!!!! Feels great to focus on some old nagging injuries and getting them right. Body has very much enjoyed a break from the ring. 12 years straight was wearing on me. Stay tuned for next update.โ
Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, emphasized that the physical toll of over a decade of non-stop wrestling had begun to wear him down. With this break, heโs prioritizing rehab, recovery, and personal well-being, using his time off to heal lingering injuries accumulated over his hard-hitting career.
Strowman was released reportedly due to the high cost of his contract in relation to his on-screen usage, though insiders have noted that the door remains open for a potential WWE return down the line.
Known for his larger-than-life presence and dominance as โThe Monster Among Men,โ Strowman has had multiple high-profile runs in WWE, including winning the Universal Championship, Intercontinental Title, and Raw Tag Team Titles.
While thereโs no confirmation on whatโs next for him professionally, Strowmanโs physical transformation and mindset suggest that heโs not done โ just recalibrating.
