WWE Superstar Liv Morgan is officially on the road to recovery following successful shoulder surgery earlier this week. The procedure was confirmed by renowned physical therapist Kevin Wilk of Champion Sports Medicine, who shared an update on social media alongside a photo with Morgan on Saturday.

The 31-year-old sustained the injury during the June 16 edition of Monday Night Raw in a match against Kairi Sane. The surgery was performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas at the prestigious Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama—a facility well-known for treating top athletes across multiple sports.

Wilk, who has worked with numerous WWE talents over the years, will oversee Morgan’s rehabilitation. “Awesome honor & pleasure to be helping @wwe superstar @yaonlylivvonce with her shoulder rehabilitation,” Wilk wrote on Instagram. “Fantastic athlete, dedicated & great to work with! This WWE superstar will be back—and back even better!”

Morgan’s injury comes at a pivotal point in her current storyline, which had recently kicked off on the June 9 episode of Raw and featured the returning Nikki Bella. The angle was reportedly building toward a high-profile clash at WWE Evolution 2, scheduled for July 13. While original creative plans included either a singles match between Morgan and Bella or a tag team bout featuring Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. The Bella Twins, those plans are now likely on hold.

There is currently no official timetable for Morgan’s return to in-ring action, but early signs point to a focused and determined comeback.
