WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather (real name Charles Wright) is proving age is just a number.
The Attitude Era legend recently took to social media to share a stunning photo of himself looking absolutely jacked at 64 years old. The image quickly went viral among wrestling fans, with many praising Wright’s dedication to fitness and healthy living. The post was captioned simply:
“Grind never stops.”
The impressive update comes just weeks after Wright survived a serious car accident, which left his vehicle completely overturned. Thankfully, both he and the other driver walked away without injury, a miracle that makes his physical recovery and condition all the more inspiring.
While he’s best remembered for his fun-loving, flamboyant “Godfather” persona—complete with the Ho Train and catchphrases like “Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy”—Wright’s WWE career featured a series of transformations. He first appeared as the mysterious Papa Shango, then transitioned to Kama: The Supreme Fighting Machine, later joined the Nation of Domination as Kama Mustafa, before finally embracing the Godfather gimmick that made him a fan favorite in the late 1990s.
Wright was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016, with longtime friends JBL and Ron Simmons delivering the honors.
Even after retirement, The Godfather continues to make occasional WWE appearances for reunion specials and Rumble surprises—and judging by this latest photo, he’s more than ready for another run.
