Press Release: Pro Wrestling Diva Fights Against Cancer

(Stuart, FL) – On Saturday, October 16th at Flagler Park in Stuart, Florida; Model, Actress and Pro Wrestling Entertainer Amy Vitale, joins “The Dazzling Diamonds” to raise money in the “Making Strides against Breast Cancer of Martin, FL” walk by raising $1,000 in their walk. In addition to Vitale, joining “The Dazzling Diamonds” is Team Captain, Kari Califano of Extreme Performances.

The Making Strides against Breast Cancer of Martin, FL Walk is organized by The American Cancer Society to raise awareness and celebrate those struggling with cancer, those who are survivors, and those who have lost loved ones to the illness.

“This especially hits home with the both of us as we lost loved ones to this horrible disease, and we want to honor them by helping raise awareness, and money for research to find a cure.” Said Vitale.

Vitale added “I lost my mother to Breast Cancer and my sister to a very rare form of Sarcoma, and team captain Kari, lost an Aunt recently to breast cancer and her mom to Stage III Ovarian Cancer, but, good news is that her Aunt Gerry is a Breast Cancer Survivor.”

The team has already raised $415, and just needs $585 to reach their goal of a $1,000.

The American Cancer Society is an organization dedicated to wipe this deadly disease off the earth by raising much needed funds for research. The American Cancer Society also promotes awareness of the disease through education and screenings. Early detection is pivotal for a less invasive procedures and a better survival rate.

Everybody is at risk for breast cancer, regardless of age. Believe it or not, men are at risk too. It not only affects the person with cancer, but their family and friends too. That’s why this walk is so important because it lets everyone know we stand together to defeat Cancer, so nobody has to go through this alone.

About Amy Vitale

The best way to describe Amy Vitale is Model/Actress/Pro Wrestling Entertainer.

Vitale was born in Tampa, Florida and now resides in South Florida.

Two of Vitale’s aunts were models. One was a swimsuit model while the other was a Playboy Playmate of the Year (1985) Karen Velez who was married to actor, Lee Majors.

She’s appeared as a Pro Wrestling Personality all over the State of Florida with NWA Pro Wrestling Fusion.

Vitale has appeared in music videos, local commercials, and various publications.

Vitale is the lead female model for Black Art Beer, which originated in Germany, which made its way to the United States in early 2009.

Vitale is heavily involved with the Patriot Girls, a group that’s trying to rekindle the support for our troops; as they spread their patriotism with the clothes they wear.

Vitale is a lead model for the photography company Marc Gagnon, Inc.

Through Gagnon’s work, Vitale is featured in the “For Our Troops” collage which is now hanging in the Parkland, Florida library. She is currently working on a “Breast Cancer Collage” with Marc Gagnon.
