Roman Reigns Sheds Heel Persona, Comes Out Of Character During Interaction With Fan

Roman Reigns may be the “Tribal Chief,” but he is a kind one.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion came out of character at a WWE live event this past weekend during a brief interaction with a young fan in the crowd.

“The Head Of The Table” defeated Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a triple-threat match, and afterwards, he stopped on his way to the locker room to wish a fan a happy birthday.

Reigns overheard a fan yelling as he was headed to the back after the match about a younger fan in front of him celebrating his birthday at the WWE non-televised event.

From there, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion walked over and approached the young fan, wishing him a happy birthday and giving him a handshake and a smile before clocking out following another day at the office.

“WWE Ottawa was AWESOME last night,” the mother of the young fan wrote via Twitter after the show. “So many great wrestlers and so many great memories had from Natalya waving to me before entering the Canadian Tire Center, to her in a picture with my boyfriend, to seeing Liv Morgan in person, and meeting new friends and helping a special little guy celebrate his birthday by getting a ‘Happy Birthday’ from our ‘Tribal Chief’ himself, Roman Reigns.”
