A number of online publications recently reported that AEW star MJF had a falling out with AEW President Tony Khan over the past week, but Fightful Select noted that those rumors are untrue and the former World Champion has been out of action.
MJF has been rehabbing his numerous injuries, and will not be appearing as a surprise entrant in tonight’s Men’s Royal Rumble match.
There has been a big storyline over the past two years with MJF’s AEW contract expiring that he has been pushing the “bidding war of 2024.”
It is believed that the Salt of the Earth, who has been out of in-ring action since Worlds End, already signed an extension with All Elite Wrestling.
