Spoilers: Impact Wrestling Taping Results From 22/1/22

On Saturday night, several episodes of Impact Wrestling were taped in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Here are the results for Saturday courtesy of Ashley Briscoe and PWInsider.com:

– Non title match: The IInspiration defeated Kaleb and Madison Rayne. No Tenille at ringside as original match was Influence vs IInspiration for the Knockouts Tag Titles.

– Josh Alexander comes to the ring and says at No Surrender he will stand along Impact’s finest to take on Honor No More but after that the Impact World Title is in his sights and he’s invoking his rematch clause against whoever wins between Moose and W Morrissey.

Josh issues an open challenge and Big Kon comes down to the ring and Josh said he isn’t waiting and taking him on right now. Josh made Kon tap to the ankle lock immediately. Security had to pull Alexander off him only to be attacked by Josh.

Scott D’Amore runs down but only to get shoved by Alexander as well. Scott takes the mic and reminds him that he’s been part of so many big parts of his life and he hopes it’s not deja vu again and how he offered Alexander his Impact contract three years ago. Asks him what more does Alexander want?

Josh says he doesn’t need the corporate guy but his Coach. He worked too hard to be the only guy to never have the time to put the title around his waist. He wants to be Impact Champion and the face of the company. If he doesn’t get his earned title match we could be looking at the hottest free agent in wrestling.

Scott pulls Alexander from the match at No Surrender and says he is sending him home. Alexander says he is home! Impact Wrestling is his home. You’ll have to drag him out of this ring. D’Amore tells him to tip his hat to the fans but he’s going home.
