Plans for tonight’s WWE SmackDown have been leaked.
Here are some of the plans for tonight, and remember that there is still time for some last-minute changes:
The Bloodline’s problems will worsen as the Night of Champions PLE approaches. According to Twitter insider @BoozerRasslin, Roman Reigns and Solo SIkoa will face Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (which appears to be the case at NOC), and Jey Uso will be upset. That match is expected to be announced tonight when Reigns returns.
LA Knight will find a tag team partner tonight, and Grayson Waller will extend an invitation to the new World Heavyweight Champion to be his first guest on the Grayson Waller Effect. This implies that the guest will appear on his SmackDown show following Night of Champions.
According to WRKDWrestling, preliminary creative plans for tonight’s SmackDown will see Reigns continue to lose faith in The Usos. The Tribal Chief will then decide to take matters into his own hands at Night of Champions on Saturday, May 27 in Saudi Arabia.
It was also reported that multiple WWE NXT Superstars called up in the WWE Draft will make their main roster debuts on tonight’s SmackDown. As PWMania.com previously reported, Cameron Grimes’ main roster debut against new free agent Baron Corbin has been teased but has yet to be officially announced as of this writing. This will be the first episode of SmackDown since the post-Draft rosters went into effect on Monday.
Other NXT names called to the blue brand in the Draft included NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, Pretty Deadly, and Waller, who has teased a segment with WWE Hall of Famer Edge.
