The Boogeyman recently underwent surgery. The former WWE star announced his surgery in two Instagram posts.
“Through adversity,one only builds character, can’t keep a good man down..#WWELEGEND BOOGEYMAN “$TILL CMIN2GETCHA,” he captioned the first post.
In the second post, he was in rehab and captioned the post, “#WWELEGEND BOOGEYMAN STILL CMIN2GETCHA ???Making progress “Can’t keep a good man down “ NGU “ NEVER GIVE UP KEEP GOD 1st as my father would say Walker Wright Sr.??and my mother Isaballa Wright ??would say Amen …and the story shall be told.#WWELEGEND,#WWERAW,#WWESMACKDOWN,#WWENXT,#Wweuniverse,#WWETHEBUMP,#WWENETWORK”
According to PWInsider, Boogeyman underwent knee surgery to repair an injury.
He joined WWE in 2005 and worked in OVW before being called up to the main roster the following year and being released in 2009.
As part of his Legends contract, he has made numerous appearances on WWE television and WWE Network programs since then.
