“The Iron Claw” Film About The Von Erich Family Starring Zac Efron Heading To Max

The new movie “The Iron Claw,” about the Von Erich family, will be available on the Max streaming service this week.

The cast includes Zac Efron (Kevin Von Erich), Jeremy Allen White (Kerry), Harris Dickinson (David), Holt McCallany (Fritz Von Erich), Maura Tierney (Doris Von Erich), Aaron Dean Eisenberg (Ric Flair), and Kevin Anton as Harley Race.

Tessa Ross, Derrin Schlesinger, and Harrison Huffman are among the producers working with A24. House Productions collaborated with Access Entertainment and BBC Films to create the film.

Sean Durkin wrote and directed the drama, which was financed and produced by A24. The film’s synopsis is as follows:

“Based on the true story of the Von Erichs, the film follows the rise and fall of the family dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day.”

According to Box Office Mojo, it grossed $45,128,828 worldwide, with the United States accounting for $35,070,296. It will be available on Max starting Friday, May 10th.
