The Undertaker Addresses Why He’s Hesitant Continuing With His Podcast/YouTube Show

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker made an appearance on Busted Open Radio today.

Undertaker has been keeping busy with his “Six Feet Under” podcast and “1 Deadman” shows. He stated that he was hesitant to do the podcast and still feels that way because it is difficult for him to discuss behind-the-scenes stories from his career.

Taker stated, “I wasn’t sure I wanted to do it. I’m still not sure I wanna do it. I’m kind of coming late to the podcast game. When you’re doing everything in the WWE machine, everything is pretty simple. Now we’re having to do everything on our own. I’m trying to find that passion now that the wrestling part is over for me. We’ll see. I’m warming up to it a little bit.”

On why there’s hesitation on doing the podcast, Taker said, “I still have a hard time talking about the business in an open forum. That’s probably the biggest thing. I somewhat am competing with myself as far as the 1 deadMAN show. The biggest thing is probably my memory. People will ask me the most random questions about the most random matches in the word like I’m supposed to remember who I worked with in Scranton, PA in 1993. I’m like yea I got nothing for ya.”

Taker stated that there is a lot of focus on the “X’s and O’s” in wrestling, and he is trying to find his niche. He stated that he plans to interview people from various genres, including athletes and musicians.

The Undertaker’s YouTube channel has amassed over 300,000 subscribers in just a few months. We’ve heard more from him since his retirement than ever before because he rarely broke character while wrestling. His one deadMAN shows are also popular with fans, regularly selling out.
