The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) recently applied for a new trademark, but they have decided not to use the term.

On November 3rd, they registered “The Wayward Sons” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as Killing The Business, Inc through trademark attorney Michael E. Dockins for entertainment and clothing purposes.

They did, however, abandon the trademark on November 15th. The document now reads as follows, “On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, status on THE WAYWARD SONS trademark changed to ABANDONED – EXPRESS.”

There has been speculation that The Young Bucks will return to AEW television soon.

Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks won the AEW World Trios Championships at All Out by defeating Page and The Dark Order in the tournament finals, but the titles were stripped from them after AEW suspended them, along with Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, and Brandon Cutler, following the backstage brawl between CM Punk and Ace Steel.

For Saturday’s Full Gear show, AEW has been airing teaser vignettes for The Elite, who have been backstage at recent Dynamite events in recent weeks.
