TNA Wrestling has officially announced the signing of former WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler, confirming that the accomplished professional wrestler and mixed martial artist has joined the company’s roster.
The signing was first reported by Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture before TNA confirmed the news in an official press release.
Baszler has already made an immediate impact in the promotion, capturing championship gold during her TNA debut at Bound For Glory on October 11, 2026.
Teaming with Zoey Serrano under the name The Apex, Baszler defeated the competition to become one-half of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.
The championship victory marked a successful beginning to Baszler’s TNA career, with the former WWE star securing a title in her first appearance for the promotion.
Baszler brings extensive experience to TNA, having established herself as a multi-time champion in both singles and tag team competition throughout her professional wrestling career.
Before becoming a prominent figure in professional wrestling, Baszler also enjoyed a lengthy career in mixed martial arts.
Her MMA record includes 15 victories, with 13 of those wins coming by submission, highlighting the grappling background that has become a defining element of her in-ring style.
Baszler made her professional wrestling debut in 2015 before going on to establish herself as one of the industry’s most recognizable submission specialists.
With her TNA contract now officially confirmed, Baszler enters the promotion as an active champion alongside Serrano, positioning The Apex as an established force in the Knockouts tag team division.
TNA has not disclosed the length or financial terms of Baszler’s contract.
