Toni Storm Calls End Of Mariah May Feud One Of Her Greatest Accomplishments

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm isn’t holding back when it comes to reflecting on her emotionally charged rivalry with Mariah May, which spanned much of 2024 and into early 2025.

In a recent interview with NYPost.com, Storm spoke candidly about the fallout from their dramatic storyline, describing the betrayal as one of the most personal and painful experiences of her career.

“I think it taught a very valuable lesson: don’t trust anyone. Be careful who you let in,” Storm said. “I was absolutely blindsided by her. I thought she was the love of my life. She was everything to me and she completely betrayed me, stabbed me in the back.”

The AEW star didn’t mince words, expressing how the betrayal left a lasting mark — both professionally and personally.

“I think it’s a lesson to all. If anyone can take anything away from that, just be really careful,” she continued. “In Australia, I was very happy. I thought it would be the end of her. Like a horror film, she popped up again.”

Ultimately, Storm views her decisive victory over Mariah May as one of her greatest accomplishments.

“To put it to bed, to lay it to rest was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. I’m so glad that woman is gone. I’ve banished her. She’s been exiled. She’s been compromised to a permanent end. That I know for sure. Glad I don’t have to see her face anymore. It’s a relief.”

The feud reached its climax earlier this year, with Mariah May departing AEW after Revolution. She has since signed with WWE, where she now performs under the name Blake Monroe.

Storm, meanwhile, continues her reign as one of the most unique and dominant characters in AEW, blending classic Hollywood flair with ruthless in-ring prowess. With Mariah May now firmly in her rearview mirror, “Timeless” Toni Storm has her sights set on new challengers — but the scars of betrayal still linger.
