Triple H Sends Custom WWE Title To Team, WWE Releases Free Match

– WWE issued the following:

Under the leadership of new head coach Julen Lopetegui, Real Madrid C.F. prepares for their 2018-19 Spanish football campaign as winners of three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles. But first, they’ll have one more title to add to their already-overcrowded trophy display: A custom WWE Championship, courtesy of Triple H.

The Game sent Los Blancos (“The Whites”) his congratulations through social media while the club is stationed in Miami, training for their Intercontinental Champions Cup matchup with Manchester United this Tuesday at Hard Rock Stadium. The tweet includes an image of the custom WWE Title, which features sideplates containing the Real Madrid logo and acknowledges the club’s 2017-18 UEFA Champions League title.

Real Madrid gratefully acknowledged Triple H’s words as well as the custom WWE Title, which several of the club’s players, including forward Lucas Vázquez and defender Dani Carvajal, instantly took a shine to.

The title is certainly in good company, joining Real Madrid’s three consecutive Champions League titles, as well as 10 more won by the club (including when it was known as the European Cup), two UEFA Cups and four UEFA Super Cups. In domestic football, Real’s accomplishments are un-real, with 64 trophies to date (33 La Liga titles, 19 Copas del Rey, 10 Spanish Super Cups, a Copa Eva Duarte and a Copa de la Liga). And let’s not forget the record six FIFA Club World Championships they’ve amassed in international competition as well.

Though Real Madrid will be in the thick of their season when WWE Live comes to Madrid this November, we hope to see the team there, congratulate them on their Champions League wins and wish them continued success.
