Update On Plans For AEW’s New Saturday Show With CM Punk, Second Big Return Planned

Another big debut or return is expected to be coming soon in the world of All Elite Wrestling.

As previously reported, the company is expected to announce the premiere of AEW Collision on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Many sources have all but confirmed that the show will return the long-awaited return of “The Best in the World” CM Punk to AEW.

In an update from the Wrestling Observer at F4WOnline.com, the show will feature, in addition to Punk’s career, the premiere of AEW Collision will also include a debut or return of significant status.

AEW Collision is expected to be a two-hour show on TNT airing in the 8/7c time slot and ending at 10/9c. The show will likely be preempted many times a year due to sports coverage, particularly with the NBA and NHL playoffs on the network.

The premiere date of 6/17 was specifically chosen because there will be no Saturday NBA or NHL playoff games after that point.

It is believed that the AEW Collision will be officially announced on or just prior to Wednesday, May 17, 2023, when the Warner Bros. Discovery “Up-fronts” are scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

We will keep you posted here at Rajah.com as updates continue to surface regarding the AEW Collision series, CM Punk’s return and the additional significant return or debut planned for the debut episode.
