As previously noted, WWE.com’s initial post of the 2019 Draft pools for RAW and Smackdown possibly spoiled the outcome of Monday’s RAW Draft results. The Draft moves announced on Smackdown ended up being revealed almost exactly in order as it was listed on WWE’s website.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com commented on what happened:
“The person who gave the website the lists … the website people were told to put these names up in alphabetical order. That’s what they were told. Somehow, alphabetical order got forgotten and they put the list up as they were and that’s why it ended up the way it did.”
There were already some changes made right away after the results were “leaked” on WWE’s website. For instance, Heavy Machinery were part of the RAW pool yet were drafted to Smackdown this past Friday night. The current speculation is that WWE will make additional draft changes due to the mistake.
