Wardlow defeated Scorpio Sky in the first match of the July 6th, 2022 AEW Dynamite to win the TNT Championship. Wardlow won after hitting several powerbombs to Sky. Dan Lambert and America’s Top Team attempted to interfere but were unsuccessful.
