When The King of the Ring Tournament Finals Will Take Place

Eight Superstars from Raw and eight Superstars from SmackDown LIVE collide in the King of the Ring tournament, kicking off next week on Raw.

For the first time in over four years, WWE is holding a King of the Ring tournament.

WWE announced Monday on Raw that the King of the Ring tournament will return on Raw next week. There will be 16 competitors in the tournament, eight Superstars from Raw and eight Superstars from SmackDown LIVE.

According to WWE.com, the following Superstars have been confirmed to represent their respective brands in the 2019 King of the Ring tournament.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, the King of the Ring is a multi-week tournament on both Raw and SmackDown. The finals will take place at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, September 15 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

WWE held the King of the Ring tournament annually from 1985 to 2002, with the exception of 1990 and 1992. Bad News Barrett won the last tournament, which took place in 2015.
