Why Wyatt?

Since the RAW after Wrestle Mania 37, Bray Wyatt has been off WWE TV. Following his loss to Randy Orton at the Showcase of Immortals, Wyatt appeared on Firefly Fun House and stated that he was getting ready for a new beginning. Wyatt is well liked inside the organisation; thus, his absence is not due to any resentment.

For years, WWE superstar Bray Wyatt has been a popular heel in the industry, and he is still one of its top rivals today, and we all love to watch a good fight we can place a bet on BETMGM. But, like all great sports fans, his following has been upset since Wyatt lost his bout at WrestleMania 37 due to Alexa Bliss’ interference and then subsequently vanished from the scene. People want to know why Wyatt and his ego exist. Since the annual pay-per-view, the Fiend has been missing from WWE events, and it appears that we may now have an answer as to why.

In the end, it appears that WWE fans have nothing to be concerned about. Bray Wyatt is said to be in excellent standing with WWE superstars and decision-makers behind the scenes, and his break isn’t tied to the outcome of his WrestleMania 37 match. Instead, he’s being purposely kept off the television and is taking an extended break from his regular schedule. We can only hypothesise as to why this is happening. It’s possible that the WWE opted to put Bray Wyatt and The Fiend on hold to build anticipation for their comeback later this year.

It was reported that Bray Wyatt had taken some time off to deal with some personal issues. In fact, late last December, Wyatt lost his real-life close friend Luke Harper/Brodie Lee. Alexa Bliss is currently on-screen on Monday Night RAW, continuing the gimmick she had when she was paired with Bray Wyatt, indicating that the two would meet again in the near future.

Mike Rotunda, better known in WWE as IRS, is the father of Bray Wyatt, a third-generation superstar. Since 2009, Wyatt has competed for WWE’s developmental brand, Florida Championship Wrestling. Wyatt has been a part of the WWE for more than a decade: he debuted with the NXT brand in 2010, during its game show era, before joining Nexus on the main roster the following year. Following the conclusion of the Nexus storyline, Wyatt returned to Florida Championship wrestling before honing his new persona as a cult leader, which earned him a following among WWE fans.

Bray returned with a menacing alter-ego known as The Fiend and unveiled his ever-popular Firefly Fun House when the cult leader gimmick ran out of steam. Whatever identity Bray Wyatt returns within the near future will undoubtedly be a smash, as his previous experience has shown that he can take a persona and transform it into something truly spectacular.

Let’s now look back at some of the matches that made Bray Wyatt such a household name and why fans cannot wait to see him back in action.

The Fiend vs Finn Balor – Summerslam 2019

The Summerslam 2019 match between Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor was far from a classic, but it gave Wyatt fans the ideal amount of entertainment. For the first time in an actual contest, fans were exposed to the character of The Fiend. While wearing the frightening mask and heading to the ring with a new rendition of his theme song, Wyatt completely dominated Balor. With loud cheers and encouraging chanting, the audience showed that they were won over by the performance. After weeks of Firefly Fun House segments, Wyatt officially revitalised his career with this match.

The Wyatt Family vs The Shield – Raw 2014

In a battle for the ages, two of the most potent groups in WWE history squared off. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins were on one side, while Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan were on the other. All six men collaborated to tell a fantastic story throughout the match. One of the things that set this face off apart was the fact that both factions were heels. That doesn’t happen very frequently, but it did, and it was undoubtedly a highlight for Bray Wyatt and his family.

Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan – Royal Rumble 2014

Bray Wyatt had never looked more like a destroyer than when he faced Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble. Bryan’s limbs were yanked, his face was clawed, and he was thrown into just about everything in and around the ring as the Eater of Worlds smirked. Bryan was a pit bull in this situation, defending himself bravely against his assailant. The ferocity, inventive tactics, and tense atmosphere made this an early contender for Match of the Year. When Wyatt challenged John Cena, WWE would surpass itself in terms of story. However, the story of Wyatt repaying Bryan for abandoning him was gripping.

With a history like this, how could you not love Bray Wyatt?
