Top AEW star โ€œThe Aerial Assassinโ€ Will Ospreay appeared on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, where he discussed a number of topics, including how his 48 five-star matches from Dave Meltzer have impacted his career despite people saying it doesnโ€™t pay the bills.

Ospreay said, โ€œThat was the topic a little while ago where theyโ€™re going โ€˜five star matches donโ€™t pay bills.โ€™ But I have paid for my dadโ€™s house, Iโ€™ve paid for my mumโ€™s kitchen, soโ€ฆโ€

On how his five-star matches helped him when entering free agency:

โ€œHonestly it was more like, if people are looking at it and going โ€˜this is sick,โ€™ they admired the work ethic and the imagination, and the details that I was putting into the match that made it whatever Dave thinks it was. But like of course everyoneโ€™s right, like it doesnโ€™t pay bills, but like for me at that time when I was approaching free agency, it was like โ€˜well who isnโ€™t going to want the guy that is putting f***ing banger, after banger, after banger, after banger, after banger?’โ€
