AEW World Champion “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay recently spoke with the Jacksonville sports radio station 1010XL about various topics, including how his victory at All In: London ranks among his career highlights.
Ospreay said, “Oh the very top, like very, very top. It was such an incredible feeling that I could never put into words. If I could find a way of bottling up and drinking it every single day and getting the hallucinations of being back in that stadium right from start to finish, it was just one of the best days of my life. I can’t tell you enough how much like, I was so grateful to have had such an amazing entrance, having my mom narrate me to the ring, having to walk past all the people that impacted and influenced my career. It was just a magical moment. And to top it off by wrestling someone that I’ve had such an admiration for and a love for in Kenny Omega was just one of the greatest nights of my life.”
On what it meant to kick out of Kenny Omega’s finisher:
“That I won Kenny’s trust. Because a lot of that comes down to how much he wants to protect it, and going forward where does that put me. And it just elevates me up to like a legendary status that — I will never fully be able to express my gratitude for having that type of moment with someone that I do generally look at as like a hero of mine. So to have that was just out of this world, mind-blowing. Like I’m just super grateful for it.”
