WWE and A&E have revealed their new programming lineup, which will premiere on Sunday, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
The second season of the “Biography: WWE Legends” documentary will be a 9-week event. WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker, Bill Goldberg, DX, Edge, Kurt Angle, and The Bella Twins, as well as Lex Luger, Rey Mysterio, and WrestleMania I, will be featured in these two-hour episodes.
Following Rivals, another new series called WWE Smack Talk will launch at 11 p.m. ET on that Sunday. The half-hour episodes will be hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Hot 97 presenter and WWE on-air talent Peter Rosenberg, and WWE on-air talent Jackie Redmond, who will break down the most memorable moments from the Biography and Rivals episodes that aired earlier in the night. Various wrestlers and celebrity visitors will be welcomed by the hosts to discuss the events of the night.
It’s worth noting that this statement makes no mention of the new season of WWE Most Wanted Treasures, which was announced in March when WWE and A&E announced their renewed partnership for over 130 hours of new content. The Smack Talk series was also not mentioned in that announcement for what it’s worth.
The original “Biography: WWE Legends” docuseries was A&E’s most-watched series in 2021, and season one of Most Wanted Treasures was the network’s most-watched new series.

Through rare archival footage and in-depth interviews, each episode explores a different Legend and their immense impact in the WWE universe and on pop culture. Legends featured this season include The Undertaker, Goldberg, The Bella Twins, Lex Luger, Edge, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, D-Generation X and a look at the iconic first-ever WrestleMania.
“WWE Rivals” – New Series Premieres Sunday, July 10 at 10pm ET/PT
Actor and former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. leads a roundtable discussion of WWE luminaries to delve into the storylines and dynamic characters behind the epic battles that built the WWE. Each one-hour episode features archival footage from WWE’s library as well as interviews with the Legends involved and the Superstars that watched these rivalries unfold. Rivalries featured this season include “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. The Rock, Bret “The Hitman” Hart vs. Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker vs. Kane, John Cena vs. Edge and the “Monday Night Wars” between WCW and WWE.
“WWE Smack Talk” – New Series Premieres Sunday, July 10 at 11pm ET/PT
Featuring WWE Legend Booker T, Hot 97 and ESPN host Peter Rosenberg and WWE host Jackie Redmond, each half-hour after show episode breaks down the biggest moments from each Sunday’s episode of “Biography: WWE Legends” and “WWE Rivals” as well as reveals new information that didn’t make the cut.
