WWE-Chase Stevens Update, Foley’s WWE Future, JR-Styles, Piper

– As noted before, former TNA talent Chase Stevens got a WWE tryout at last week’s RAW and SmackDown events in Ohio. The rumor going around the independents is that WWE has offered Stevens a contract.

– Mick Foley will be doing a special Q&A session after a screening of the movie Beyond The Mat on March 24th in New York City. The 1999 documentary will be screened at 92YTribeca on Hudson Street on March 24th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $12. The screening is part of the venue’s “Beat Down: Wrestling in the Movies” series.

– Foley is scheduled for the WWE RAW Supershow in Washington, DC on April 9th. No word yet what his role will be but there were rumblings a few months ago that Foley would be scheduled for several events after WrestleMania 28.

– Joey Styles wrote on Twitter that he and Jim Ross are working on ideas that will see the two of them finally announce together.

– WWE Legend Roddy Piper wrote on Twitter that he has been thinking about getting away from the public life.
