WWE NXT’s Amari Miller is currently out of action with a knee injury.

Miller announced on Twitter on Friday that she will have surgery to repair a torn ACL next week. She described it as a minor setback for a major comeback and promised to keep fans updated on her progress.

“I tore my ACL and will have surgery next week,” she wrote. “Life happens in the WORST possible way. Everything happens for a reason, and I believe that everything that has happened recently has been a blessing in disguise for a powerful future. I’ll keep you all updated, minor setback for a major comeback Love you[heart emoji]”

There is no word on whether Miller’s injuries occurred during a match or during training. She hasn’t wrestled since the January 10 NXT New Year’s Evil special, where she competed in the Women’s Battle Royal. Miller was the third person eliminated that night, having been thrown out by Lash Legend. Miller began tweeting about being on the road to recovery on February 3, as seen in the tweets below, noting that she biked several miles that day. She also made tweets in late January that could be related to an injury.

There is no word on how long Miller will be out of action, but she could be out for 6-9 months. She should have a better idea of how long she will be out of commission following surgery.

Miller was sidelined for a while after suffering a concussion while wrestling Legend on the March 1, 2022 episode of NXT.
