WWE Survivor Series 2020 Preview

Back in March of this year, World Wrestling Entertainment announced the date of the 2020 Survivor Series. As one of the major WWE events of the year, fans will be happy to know Survivor Series will take place on the 22nd of November in Dallas, Texas.

At the time of writing, we do not know the exact venue to be used but there is a good chance it will be the American Airlines Center. This arena has been used on several occasions by WWE, including the 2003 Survivor Series event. So, it would be no surprise to see the American Airlines Center called into action once more.

It is unclear at this stage whether any fans will be allowed inside the venue due to COVID-19. WWE are hopeful the situation will have improved by November and some fans will be allowed to watch the event but the full capacity of the arena may not be used.

This is set to be a special addition of the Survivor Series. The 2020 Survivor Series event will be the 30th anniversary of The Undertaker’s official TV debut and it will be interesting to see if WWE organise a special event featuring the seven-time world heavyweight champion. Having appeared at the 2020 WrestleMania on the 5th of April, The Undertaker won his match against AJ Styles, bringing him his 25th victory at the WWE flagship event.

Interestingly, Dallas is The Undertaker’s home and therefore the decision to stage the 2020 Survivor Series may have been based on this fact. It is extremely likely the company are going to massively promote this event over the coming months and The Undertaker is going to play a huge role in attracting big numbers for the Pay-Per-View extravaganza.

It is unclear at this stage exactly who the Deadman will be facing in the ring but it is sure to be a big name opponent. Almost every WWE fan will be backing The Undertaker to win the match and for those wanting to place a bet, use this 10bet betting promo on The Undertaker to win. Doing so will not only guarantee the best odds but also a 100% bonus up to £50. All you need to do is deposit a minimum of £15 and you will get a 100% bonus up to a maximum of £50 to bet on the 2020 WWE Survivor Series.

We await the news regarding other possible matches at the Survivor Series. However, there are strong rumours circulating regarding RETRIBUTION and the role they could have to play in the event. Having come into SmackDown and caused destruction, RETRIBUTION are perfectly lined up for the Survivor Series as they are made up of five members. That means they are ideal for a traditional five-on-five Survivor Series match.

In addition, the successful Raw vs. SmackDown vs. NXT battle from last year’s Survivor Series could make a return. Whatever happens, The Undertaker is going to be the big draw at the 2020 WWE Survivor Series.
