As PWMania.com previously reported, NXT Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre will face Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shaya Baszler in a title unification match. The match will take place in two weeks, and there appears to be more activity in the women’s tag division in recent weeks.
The Women’s Tag Team division is being revamped, according to WWE insider BoozerRasslin.
This is good news for those behind the scenes who have been advocating for the women’s tag division to be featured more frequently. When they gave the belts to Rousey and Baslzer and promoted two women’s tag teams to the main roster during the WWE Draft, there were already signs that the division was getting more attention.
The division’s exact plans are unknown, but it appears that Triple H is making more positive changes to the women’s roster.
