Brock Rechsteiner, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner and cousin of current WWE star and reigning World Tag Team Champion Bron Breakker, is a wide receiver who signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted rookie this past May. However, he is currently facing a six-game suspension from the NFL.
According to Fightful Select, a WWE executive expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of the company signing Rechsteiner when he joined the Saints. This executive reportedly believes that Rechsteiner’s recent suspension will not impede that prospect, adding that there is a “99.9 percent chance” WWE will offer him a contract once his NFL career concludes.
The report also noted that WWE officials have been monitoring Rechsteiner since his college days and do not expect him to go through a tryout, as they are willing to sign him outright. Rechsteiner has reportedly communicated his interest in joining WWE whenever the opportunity arises.
Additionally, in January 2025, Scott Steiner claimed that Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque offered Rechsteiner a WWE NIL deal.
