The opening match of WWE WrestleMania XL Saturday saw Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley successfully defend her championship against “The Man” Becky Lynch.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves stated that Lynch had been battling a sore throat and a 102-degree fever, but her performance was not affected.
Despite her condition, Lynch has also been promoting her newly released memoir, “Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl.” The book, which hit shelves on March 26th, quickly climbed to the New York Times Best Sellers list.
