The Knockouts World Title match for the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view has been announced by Impact Wrestling.

Trinity defeated Savannah Evans in Thursday night’s post-Under Siege episode of Impact. This was only her third match with the company. Trinity debuted a few weeks ago with a win over Knockouts World Tag Team Champion KiLynn King, then defeated Gisele Shaw at Under Siege.

Following her victory over Evans, Trinity summoned Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo to the ring and issued the Slammiversary challenge. Trinity vs. Purrazzo for the Knockouts World Title has been made official by Impact.

Following the match between Trinity and Purrazzo, they were triple teamed by Evans, Shaw, and Jai Vidal until Jordynne Grace made the save. The heels also took Grace out, and it has been reported that she has left the company, as covered at this link.

Purrazzo and Trinity will take on Shaw and Evans in next week’s Impact.

The 2023 Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view event is set to take place on Saturday, July 15 from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The only match announced as of this writing is Trinity vs. Purrazzo, but Slammiversary will also feature Impact World Champion Steve Maclin defending against the winner of the inaugural 8-4-1 Match.
