Former WWE Superstar Matt Riddle didnโt mince words when discussing CM Punk and John Cena during a recent appearance on the Going Ringside podcast.
When asked about Punk, Riddle launched into a blunt critique, claiming the former WWE Champion has a bad reputation backstage and is difficult to work with.
โThat guy sucks at fighting and heโs a bitch to work with in the back,โ Riddle said. โHe just belly aches and complainsโฆ Iโve heard from my boys that still work there that he is a headache, and this isnโt a storyline, this is the facts.โ
The outspoken former King of Bros made it clear his opinion is based both on personal experience and what heโs been told by current WWE talent.
Riddle also shared a humorous yet tense story about his first backstage interaction with John Cena, revealing that it didnโt go over well.
โI accidentally said I thought he would be bigger,โ Riddle recalled. โHe kind of gave me a verbal lashing back and forth. He gave me crap for being the โKing of Bros,โ tried to get me to explain what that was, and no answer was good enough for John Cena.โ
While both stories add to Riddleโs reputation for unfiltered honesty, they also shine a light on past locker room tensions and the sometimes unpredictable dynamics between major WWE personalities.
