Block A Match Of The 2023 Best Of The Super Juniors
Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Kushida (0) vs. TJP (0)

Match starts off with some rapid exchange of holds then both men went for leg locks at the same time. TJP manages to pull ahead though snapping back on Kushida’s arm before a Muta Lock forces Kushida into the ropes.

An Octopus hold keeps Kushida in trouble, but Kushida gets out of it and then locks in a Cobra Twist before a hammerlock cradle saw Kushida come close before TJP’s springboard was countered into a cross armbar only for TJP to counter with an inside cradle for the win

Block B Match Of The 2023 Best Of The Super Juniors
Yoshinobu Kanemaru (2) vs. Dan Moloney (2)

Dan Moloney chops Yoshinobu Kanemaru then he counters Kanemaru’s sunset flip. Kanemaru eventually fought back as a low dropkick cut off a spear before he targeted the knee of Moloney.

Moloney goes for Drilla but Kanemaru escapes then locks Moloney in the Figure 4 for the submission win.

Ryusuke Taguchi (0) vs. Lio Rush (2)

Ryusuke Taguchi does try to get a head start at the bell but Lio Rush out paced and dizzied Taguchi then he hits a hip attack then a plancha to the outside. Rush is able to turn it around by connecting with a pair of dives before Final Hour was blocked by Taguchi’s knees.

Taguchi goes for Dodon but it got countered with a roll up before a lariat wipes out Rush & then Taguchi hits Dodon for a near fall. Taguchi goes for a frog splash of his own but Rush rolls out at the way before Taguchi went back to the hip attacks before Rush hits Rush Hour then Final Hour to put Taguchi away.

Robbie Eagles (2) vs. Clark Connors (2)

Robbie Eagles surprises Clark Connors as he locks Connors into Ron Miller Special but Connors makes it to the ropes before he took things outside and began to target Eagles’ taped up shoulder then Connors laughs off some attempted chops as Eagles looked to fight back eventually connecting with a snap back suplex out of the corner.

An Asai DDT from Eagles connects then goes for the cover but only got 2 count then he tries to lock in another Ron Miller Special but Connors takes him down Eagles before a 2nd Trophy Kill follows before a roll up from Eagles gets the job done.

Sho (0) vs. Mike Bailey (2)

Sho attacks Mike Bailey before the bell, using a chair as the match started with Sho capitalize by going after Bailey’s toes but Bailey responds with kicks by taking Sho outside for the Scissor Kicks before Evil came out to interfere by knocking Bailey off the top rope.

Going back to the bare feet, Sho stomps on Bailey and threw him to the floor as Evil used a chair on him but Bailey overcomes by sending Sho to the outside but Evil trips him up to stop a dive but Bailey gets to hit a dive by landing the triangle moonsault after he kicks Evil away.

More distractions from Evil give Sho an opening as it leads to a cross armed piledriver for a near fall before Bailey rana’d out of a powerbomb. Moonsault knees follow before Evil helps set up for a ref bump & that allows Sho to use the wrench and smash it on Bailey’s big toes, before he used it to try and dislocate the toes.

Evil pulls out the referee as Bailey had Sho beat with a cradle but once again Bailey overcomes the cheating as he laid into House Of Torture with kicks & that leads Bailey to hit Ultima Weapon for the win.

Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Kevin Knight (0) vs. Francesco Akira (0)

Kevin Knight & Francesco Akira took to the skies before Knight lands his plancha.

Back inside the ring Akira’s able to find a way through with a baseball slide as Knight’s put in a tree of woe ahead of a hammerlock’s Octopus hold on the mat. Akira keeps pushing on with a dropkick for a two count before Knight fought back with a Stinger Splash then with a dropkick of his own.

Knight hits a Sky High almost gets the win but Akira’s able to snap back with a DDT before he missed Fireball then they go back & forth with pinning attempts ensue before Knight comes back with a hands free rana out of the corner before Akira connects with the Speedfire & Fireball combo puts away Knight.

Titan (2) vs. Taiji Ishimori (2)

Match starts off with some arm drags then Titan had Taiji Ishimori backing into the ropes to avoid a kick then he goes for the eyes through the mask, Ishimori upped the pace before a Tijeras from Titan took things outside where Ishimori ends up sending him to the ring post.

Back inside the ring Ishimori rips off a corner pad then tried to rip off the mask as Ishimori looked to keep things grounded with a cobra clutch before a swinging DDT from Titan helped get him back in it as Ishimori was sent outside for a tope suicida before a flash handspring enziguiri from Ishimori gets him back in control.

Ishimori hits a shoulder breaker but Titan pushed ahead with a Mistica and a Samoan Driver then Ishimori hits a Mistica of his own in return then traps Titan in a Bone Lock & Titan tries to make it to the ropes but Ishimori rolls away from the ropes & Titan has no choice but to tap out.

Block B Match Of The 2023 Best Of The Super Juniors
El Desperado (0) vs. Bushi (0)

Bushi targets the legs of El Desperado in the early going of this match then a missile dropkick to the knee follow by a modified Figure 4 from Bushi forces Desperado to the ropes before Desperado crumpled into a heap as he was being thrown into the corner.

Desperado makes a comeback by scoring with a suplex for a two count before he evaded another dropkick to the knee but Bushi hits a short DDT then a Codebreaker before he went back to the knees as Desperado’s again forced to the ropes. Bushi was in control before Desperado hits him with Numero Dos then Guitarra De Angel before El Es Claro gets Desperado the win.

Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi (0) vs. Douki (2)

A jump start from Douki almost led to an Suplex De La Luna, before things headed outside with a rebound DDT to Hiromu Takahashi on the floor then Douki adds a 2nd DDT on the outside as he looked to get a count out win but Takahashi makes it back in.

Takahashi connects with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall before Douki hits an attempted Gory special but Takahashi gets out of it before Douki pulls Takahashi into the Douki Chokey but Takahashi makes it to the ropes. Douki goes for Daybreak but Takahashi counter by charging Douki into the corner pad before a Dynamite Plunger got a 2 count.

Douki rolls his way out of a Time Bomb and went back into Douki Chokey following with Doton No Jutsu then he locks in Douki Chokey for a 3rd but the ropes saved Takahashi again but he gets lay out by Daybreak.

Douki then goes for the cover but Takahashi kicks out at two and after he hits a couple of lariats Takahashi kicks out again then a torture rack/sidewalk slam connects then a another Suplex De la Luna is countered as Takahashi rolls through into Time Bomb puts Douki away.

Yoh (0) vs. Master Wato (2)

Match starts off with Yoh & Master Wato traded wristlocks and knuckle locks then Wato try to lock in The Vendeval but Yoh escapes & rolls to the outside and then runs to the back of the arena to get away from any dives from Wato then after Yoh gets back in the ring he hits the first dive with a plancha.

Yoh connects with a neckbreaker keeps him in control before Wato comes back with a bulldog after he charged out of the corner while a dropkick took Yoh to the floor only to get caught with a tope con giro.

Wato misses a springboard uppercut back in but he connects with Recientemente for a near fall before a Vendaval had Yoh trap in the middle of the ring but he makes it to the ropes then Yoh comes back with a dropkick before eventually following up with a superplex.

Wato breaks free then hits a springboard European uppercut but a German suplex is flip out of as Yoh nails Direct Drive but it wasn’t enough to put Wato away then they traded strikes then Yoh nails a elbow that left Wato laying.

Yoh tries for Direct Drive for the 2nd time but it gets block & leads to Wato sitting down on a dragon screw for a near fall before Yoh hits a reverse ‘rana follow superkick then a lariat knocks Wato down before he drills him to the mat with Direct Drive gets the win.
