This past Tuesday night’s New Year’s Evil special episode of NXT saw Oba Femi defeat Riley Osborne in the finals of the Men’s NXT Breakout tournament to earn a future opportunity at the NXT Championship, currently held by Ilja Dragunov.
Femi took part in a post-show digital exclusive interview with the company immediately following the show to talk about a number of topics including how winning the tournament means everything to him and how a fortune teller back home in Nigeria named Eshema foresaw him winning contracts and gold in the future.
Femi said, “This moment to me means everything has finally come to fruition.” “When I was back home in Nigeria, I consulted a fortune teller called Eshema, Sister Eshema.”
“She told me she sees me conquering industries in the future. She sees me bringing down industries in the future. She sees me winning contracts in the future. She sees me winning gold in the future. Eshema, whatever you are, destiny fulfilled.”
