Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Kushida (4) vs. Ryusuke Taguchi (0)

They do laps of the ring as Kushida then fails with a sneak attack only to get pull onto the apron as Taguchi goes for Oh My & Garankle.

Then getting back into the ring sees Taguchi take that kick to the arm as Kushida began to target the arm then a stranglehold is wiggled out of by Taguchi as he hits a hip attack while a low dropkick took Kushida outside for a dive.

Taguchi hits a springboard hip attack back inside but it got counter into a cross armbar before he sat down on a Magistral attempt as dualling clotheslines proceeded to leave both men laying.

Taguchi is knock down with a handspring back elbow before Taguchi escapes a double wrist lock then pulls Kushida into a Dodon & it only gets a two count then locks Kushida into Oh My & Garankle for the submission win.

Block A Match Of The 2023 Best Of The Super Juniors
Douki (6) vs. Sho (6)

Sho tries to run to the back and drags Douki out from the back except it wasn’t Douki it was Ryohei Oiwa dressed and painted up in Douki’s mask as Sho rang the bell and pretended to have his match by pulling “Douki” into a Snakebite then the real Douki runs out to break it up.

A Tijeras takes Sho into the corner ahead of a leaping headbutt before Kosei Fujita was used as a human shield by Sho. The ref got in on the action too as Sho tried to avoid Daybreak then took things outside the main hall where Douki got thrown in the bin.

That led to a count out tease after Douki had been pull out of the bin but Douki easily makes it back in time then Douki gets taken into the corner but fought back before we got a ref bump that allows Sho to go for Bobo but Douki got an even bigger pipe then the duel ends with Douki laying into Sho with his pipe.

Douki hits double stomp off the top rope then goes for the cover but gets a near fall with Douki rolling Sho into the Douki Chokey then Evil runs out with a towel which distracts the referee as Douki lets go of the hold allowing Sho to remove a corner pad. Sho runs Douki into the corner then connects with cross armed piledriver for a 2 count.

Evil again interferes but couldn’t prevent a Daybreak to Sho before Suplex De La Luna lands except Yujiro Takahashi ran out and pulls out the ref allowing Evil to make the count then Yujiro Takahashi is in & he hits a low blow while Evil nails Douki with Everything Is Evil then Sho makes the cover to get the win.

Winner goes to the Semi Finals.

If Bailey loses he still advances with a Titan win.

Lio Rush & Mike Bailey rush into a stand off on the apron before they gave chase around the ring then they get back in the ring with Bailey on top as he is chopping Rush into the corner before a ducked Buzzsaw Kick led to the Scissor Kicks instead then a 2nd Buzzsaw Kick is caught and turned almost into a Ki Krusher that takes Bailey to the outside for a couple of low pes.

Bailey gets knock off the apron with a handspring kick as a 3rd low pe sent him crashing backwards. Back inside we got a game of cat & mouse as Rush tried to stay out of diving range of Bailey only to get knock to the outside for a springboard corkscrew moonsault then springboard double knees from Bailey bring Rush back into the ring with a bump before Rush roll up out of a Flamingo Driver for a near fall.

A cross armbar from Bailey looks to force a stoppage but Rush again rolls out, only to get caught with the moonsault double knees then Bailey goes back to the armbar but this time Rush makes the ropes to force a break as Bailey connects with a series of kicks then more moonsault knees miss as Bailey landed on the mat instead he ducks a sudden hook kick from Rush but couldn’t avoid a lariat.

An exchange of kicks left both men laying before a spear from Rush cut off Bailey’s corkscrew kick into the corner & that takes Bailey to the outside again & Rush hits a Spanish Fly on the floor before Bailey took things up top for a Spanish Fly off the top rope but it gets a near fall as Rush adds a superkick then a Final Hour but Bailey got the boot up and cradles Rush for a near fall.

Another head kick from Bailey looks to set up for the Ultima Weapon but Rush connects with Rush Hour but it only to miss Final Hour then a Corkscrew Kick sends Rush into the corner before he drills him to the mat with Flamingo Driver gets the win.

Titan ducks a clothesline as he turned things around by taking Takahashi to the out outside with a dropkick before a tope suicida saw Takahashi crash into the Young Lions then Titan locks in a Trailer Hitch follows back inside but Takahashi makes it to the ropes to force a break. Titan stays on Takahashi only to see his swinging DDT get countered into a Falcon Arrow.

Titan’s back to throw Takahashi onto the top rope before an overhead kick knocks Takahashi to the floor for a tope con giro then Takahashi hits Dynamite Plunger out of nowhere before Titan fought out of a Victory Royale and returned with a swinging DDT then Titan tries to lock in El Inmortal but Titan couldn’t quite grab Takahashi’s head instead he goes for the hair instead before Takahashi got back to the ropes.

Takahashi blocks a springboard from Titan into Time Bomb 1.5 before a Hiromu Chan Bomber then he looks to set up for Time Bomb 2 but it’s cradled out of then we get more cradles keep the near falls coming, before a superkick from Titan and hits Takahashi with a double stomp off the top rope before locking in El Immortal again & Takahashi has no choice but to tap out.
