Nic Nemeth Discusses Dealing With Last-Minute Rewrites In WWE

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth recently made an appearance on an episode of Busted Open Radio, where he talked about a number of topics including dealing with last-minute script changes in WWE.

Nemeth said, โ€œYouโ€™d hear [people wondering] โ€˜What are we doing tonight?โ€™ โ€˜Well, I heard [the] entire show just got ripped in half at 5:45.’โ€

On having to film promos remotely and put them on Matt Cardonaโ€™s YouTube:

โ€œWe couldnโ€™t even make โ€˜Rawโ€™ [some weeks], so we would make a video and put it on [Cardonaโ€™s] YouTube. I would use my selling [to make] it seem like there was more invested in the match.โ€

On his advice to wrestlers dealing with similar frustrations:

โ€œIf you donโ€™t have the chance to do the storytelling part, Iโ€™d try to do it in the selling of the match to make it bigger for if down the line we got another shot at it.โ€
