Top NJPW star Gabe Kidd spoke with Fightful about several topics, including his association with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, despite not working directly for AEW.

Kidd said, “I don’t work for AEW. I work for Jon Moxley right now. You can say what you want, but I have my purpose, my vision, my path. That’s what I’m doing right now. F**k all the noise. It’s about what I’m trying to accomplish, what we are trying to accomplish.”

On how his relationship with Moxley came about:

“None of your business. The important thing is that it did, and it happened, and it’s happening. It’s a very crazy collaboration of people getting together and working towards the same goal. Don’t worry about how it came about, just be happy that it did.”

On if he saw Tony Khan or Rocky Romero backstage at Beach Break:

“I was in and out. I got in there and did what I needed to do, and what happened happened. That’s it. I didn’t see any of them nerds because they would have gotten knocked out with a slap. That’s that.”
