With WWE Evolution just days away, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray is voicing strong opinions about Tiffany Stratton’s current booking as WWE Women’s Champion — and he’s not holding back.

On a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray said Stratton’s babyface run “just didn’t work” and claimed she’s being miscast ahead of her marquee title defense this Sunday against Trish Stratus.

“I don’t know what makes Tiffany Stratton a babyface. I have absolutely no idea,” said Bully. “I don’t know where the relatability is. I don’t know where the people can latch onto her. I don’t know where they can care for her.”

He acknowledged her athletic ability but questioned whether anything beyond her moonsault was connecting with fans.

“She has a great moonsault. A pretty moonsault. Other than that, is anything else resonating with you?”

Bully didn’t stop there. He warned that if WWE has Trish Stratus win the title on Sunday, it could be a sign that the company is ready to hit the reset button on Stratton’s push.

“If they take the championship off of Tiffany Stratton and put it on Trish Stratus, they’re basically saying, ‘Alright, the Tiffany experiment kind of didn’t work out.’”

The former ECW and WWE star pitched a dramatic post-match scenario that could successfully turn Stratton heel and reignite her momentum:

“Tiffany slides back in the ring, bing, nails [Trish] right in the back of the head… beats the shit out of Trish Stratus with her own belt, beats her down some more… takes the belt, throws it back on her and leaves.”

He even suggested it could lead to Stratus being “injured” and having to vacate the championship, sparking major heat on Stratton.

Tiffany Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Trish Stratus at WWE Evolution this Sunday, July 13. The match not only headlines the all-women’s event but also marks the 25th anniversary of Stratus’ storied pro wrestling career.
