As previously reported by PWMania.com, TNA Wrestling severed ties with Max Caster following his controversial freestyle rap during his entrance at Bound for Glory 2026 on Sunday. Caster used an unapproved line referencing the bombings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which led to the decision.
According to Fightful Select, prior to Caster’s dismissal, there had been discussions about featuring him in this week’s TV tapings in Dothan, Alabama. However, Caster confided to those close to him that his match at Bound for Glory was likely intended to be a one-time appearance.
The report also indicated that some talents felt TNA should share responsibility for the incident, particularly for failing to have Caster review his rap in advance. Additionally, they noted that everything seemed fine after the event while on the bus transporting talents from the venue to the hotel.
PWInsider.com later reported that TNA President Carlos Silva decided to fire Caster after the event concluded. Caster also issued a statement addressing the situation, apologizing to Silva and the TNA office, and expressing that he felt he had let them down.
