According to Fightful Select, WWE has contacted multiple legends in recent weeks in preparation for the upcoming Evolution Premium Live Event (PLE). In addition to the legends who were involved in spoiler segments during recent SmackDown tapings, WWE has reportedly reached out to several other veteran talents to arrange potential appearances and matches.
The report states that creative discussions and arrangements for the event have been ongoing and, in some cases, finalized very close to the show’s scheduled date.
As previously reported, Liv Morgan’s shoulder injury has led to significant changes to the Evolution card, prompting WWE to explore additional options involving legendary talent. The second-ever Evolution event will take place on Saturday, July 12th, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and will stream live on Peacock and Netflix.
