Early Estimate on Pay Per View Buys For ROH Final Battle 2022

Tony Khan presented his third Ring of Honor pay-per-view event last Saturday, Final Battle.

According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer, the event had 25,000 pay-per-view buys (19,000 streaming and 6,400 cable) based on first-week estimates. Meltzer noted that first-week estimates are “always low in the end by five to 10 percent.”

Supercard of Honor drew 23,000 buys in April, and Death Before Dishonor did 37,000 buys in July.

Despite early estimates, the show had the highest PPV number and attendance of any ROH Final Battle in company history. The show drew 2,700 people, with 2,500 paying admission at the College Park Center.

The main event featured Chris Jericho defending his ROH World Title against Claudio Castagnoli. The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) vs. FTR in a double dog collar match for the ROH World Tag Team Titles was also featured on the show (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).
