New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) is just hours away from Wrestle Kingdom 17, widely regarded as the company’s biggest event of the year. It will be held at the Tokyo Dome on a single night in 2023 as opposed to over the course of three nights, which will mark a change. On January 21, there will be a second night of the event at a smaller venue.
Jay White will defend his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kazuchika Okada in the main event.
Sasha Banks is expected to make her NJPW debut at this show, where she is expected to face KAIRI. On Sunday, the former WWE star became a free agent.
WWE’s Karl Anderson will be there, as will AEW’s FTR and Kenny Omega.
The event will begin at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on NJPW World.
