WWE Hall of Famer JBL believes Vince McMahonโs time in wrestling isnโt overโjust that his next chapter may not be with WWE.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Something to Wrestle With podcast, JBL was asked about McMahonโs future in the wrestling business. Given the choices of Vince being finished with wrestling, returning to WWE, or joining another promotion, JBL confidently picked the third option.
โTwo. I would say two, that he finds himself in another promotion somewhere,โ JBL responded. โI donโt know how he can keep himself from it. He loves to workโฆ and he loves wrestling.โ
JBL went on to explain that he believes McMahonโs hands-on, driven mentality will ultimately draw him back into a leadership role in the wrestling worldโeven if itโs outside WWE.
โHe wants to deal with wrestlers, in my opinion. And I can see somehow in the next 10 yearsโhopefully he lives a long time, because itโll be interestingโI can see him doing something with a wrestling company somewhere, just to show he can still do it,โ JBL said. โVince is not going to go quietly into the night and be a passive investorโฆ Heโs an operator, and I mean that in a good way. He loves to run things.โ
While McMahon is no longer actively involved in WWE creative or management, he recently launched a new investment company, fueling speculation about where his interests may lie moving forward.
For now, McMahonโs wrestling future remains uncertainโbut if JBLโs instincts are correct, a return to the industry in some capacity could be inevitable.
